My throat was still hurting and the house was a mess, so what else was there to do but abandon ship and go for a Sunday drive. I packed up the girls( Phillip was still seeking refuge with the Turners where the testosterone:estrogen ratio is a little more normalized) and we headed up to the North Shore for some shave ice. On the way, we passed a trailer with horses and signs for a polo match- so I figured we'd go see it after the ice fix.
As usual, I took a wrong turn and we ended up on a back 
road where there was a field with horses roaming around. The girls were t
hrilled, and the horses obviously get a lot of visitors because they came right over. We did finally find the polo field, but it was anticlimactic after petting the horses.

ReplyDeleteIt looks as though you made the right choice and abandoned ship at the right time. The girls all look like they truly enjoyed themselves. The Shave Ice brings back very good memories for me. What flavors did you all choose?
Even the horses look happy. You must have worked your magic on them too!!!
